How to make American vanilla ice cream

You will need an ice cream maker and we hope you have one.


heavy cream: 10.5 oz

Milk whole: 21 oz

sugar granulated: 10.5 oz

vanilla bean, split: 1 each

method of prep:

scale ingredients

combine all ingredients in pot

heat mixture to 180 degrees

cool quickly over ice bath

freeze in an ice cream machine with 100% overrun till soft serve consistency

put in freezer till hard
